Marco and Julia arrived from Berlin on a Sunday afternoon in late June, with one request: 'show us the country, not the postcard.' The week that followed has since become the most-shared itinerary in our quiet referral channel, and the template for a slightly slower version of our signature route.

Days 1–2: settling on the coast

We placed them in Bečići, not Budva — quieter, the same beach, a fifteen-minute walk to the old town. The first evening was a small dinner at a family konoba above Kamenovo bay. Day two: morning swim, afternoon e-bike to Perast.

Days 3–4: the bay

Lady of the Rocks at first light, then a private boat north through the inner bay. On day four they paraglided down to Bečići from Brajići — the photographs from that flight have been forwarded by guests at least a dozen times since.

Days 5–7: north to Durmitor

We drove north on day five via Lovćen and Nikšić. Two nights at a small lodge near Žabljak. Black Lake at sunrise on day seven before the long drive back to Tivat for the evening flight.

Questions guests ask before booking

How many days do you need in Montenegro?+

Seven days is the sweet spot for first-time visitors: three on the coast, two in the Bay of Kotor, and two in the mountains around Durmitor. Anything less and you are picking one Montenegro instead of seeing both.
